A collection of wristwatches in various styles, including dress, sport, and military style examples. The group comprises a vintage Paul Jobin dress watch with a gold-toned case and silvered sunburst dial; a ladies’ Avia quartz watch with a white dial and black leather strap; and a larger Auriol quartz watch featuring a silvered sunburst dial and integrated metal bracelet. Also included is a Casio stainless steel dual time watch with an analog dial and digital display at the 6 o’clock position, marked with the text AUTO CALENDAR and DUAL TIME. A Lorus quartz watch features a white dial with full Arabic numerals on a black leather strap. The collection further includes a vintage field style watch with a black dial, sub-seconds dial, and aged Arabic numerals, and a ladies’ Accurist bracelet watch in polished and brushed metal. A Ramino quartz dress watch with Roman numeral markers is housed in a black presentation case with a green velvet interior and a separate green outer box bearing a gold-coloured Pegasus logo. The watches are finished with a variety of black leather style straps and metal link bracelets.
Condition report:
The watches exhibit various degrees of wear across the collection. The Paul Jobin watch shows visible wear to the gold-toned plating and scratches to the crystal. The Casio and Auriol models show moderate surface scuffing and scratches to the cases and bracelets. The Lorus and vintage black-dial watches have heavily creased and worn straps, with the black-dial watch showing significant loss to the case plating and a heavy patina on the dial. The Accurist and Ramino examples appear in better condition, with the Ramino watch appearing potentially unused in its packaging. All movements are untested and will likely require battery replacements or servicing.
