A collection of vintage and contemporary costume jewellery including necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and a pendant, housed in a decorative cardboard box. The assortment features a variety of beaded necklaces including multi-strand examples with floral-decorated glass beads, graduated faux pearls, and strands of mother-of-pearl style shell beads. Also included is a gold-tone oval pendant featuring a maroon enamel ground with a raised white floral motif, presented in a blue velvet-lined case. The lot contains a cream-coloured carved plastic bangle with floral decoration and a blue enamel style hinged cuff with gold-tone filigree detailing. A pair of silver-tone heart-shaped stud earrings are included in a red and white heart-patterned box. The lot is accompanied by a pink drawstring fabric pouch and a printed card reading AVON Breast Cancer Crusade and Thank you for your continued support. A blue pamphlet is present with the text Edwin and OUTH visible. The interior of one box lid is printed in gold with the word SEVEN.
Condition report:
The collection is in a used condition with several beaded necklaces showing significant tangling (photo 1). The blue enamel and gold-tone cuff shows visible surface wear and loss to the gilt finish (photo 1). The decorative storage box is in poor condition with heavy wear, tearing, and separation to the cardboard edges (photo 2). The various presentation boxes show shelf wear and internal scuffing.
