A contemporary home bar unit designed in a modern Art Deco revival style. The unit is constructed from black-laminated composite boards, complemented by cylindrical chrome-plated steel vertical supports. The tiered structure features three main levels, including a top shelf made of black-tinted tempered glass secured with a central circular metal cap. The right-hand side of the piece is characterised by rounded D-end shelves, each fitted with decorative chrome guard rails. The rear of the unit is enclosed by arched black panels accented with vertical and semi-circular chrome piping. The shelving is fixed in position by the primary structural pillars. No permanent manufacturer’s marks or branding are legible on the piece. This lot comprises the shelving unit only.
Condition report:
the unit shows visible signs of heavy dust and surface soiling across all levels (photo 1). There is significant surface wear, including scuffs and scratches, to the black laminate finish, particularly evident on the lower shelf surfaces (photo 3). The chrome-plated elements exhibit minor surface smudging and light wear but show no significant pitting or corrosion (photo 2). The black glass top appears to be structurally sound, though surface scratches may be present beneath the layer of dust.
