A traditional D-shaped wedding band crafted in 22ct yellow gold. The band features a high-carat yellow gold composition with a polished exterior finish and a solid construction. The interior of the shank is struck with several British hallmarks. These include a maker’s mark consisting of two letters in a shaped shield, where the first letter is a serif ‘S’ and the second appears to be a ‘W’. This is followed by the traditional crown symbol for gold and the numerals ’22’ denoting the fineness. A final mark, the date letter ‘u’ in a square shield with clipped corners, is also present. The band has a curved outer profile and a flat interior typical of the domed style.

Condition report:
The ring is in good condition with signs of light wear and minor surface scratches across the exterior and interior, consistent with age and regular use. The hallmarks are slightly softened by wear but remains identifiable (photo 2). No thinning to the band or structural damage is visible.
