A collection of eleven wristwatches comprising both men’s and women’s styles in various designs. The lot includes a silver-tone digital watch in a black presentation box marked QUARTZ; the dial features a digital display with printed text reading 3ATM WATER RESISTANT and ALARM CHRONOGRAPH, with functions labelled START, LIGHT, MODE, and RESET. A second black presentation case contains a set of three rectangular watches, each with a stone-set bezel and marked S A S H A and QUARTZ on the dials. These consist of a white dial example on a white strap, a gold-tone sunburst dial on a black strap, and a purple sunburst dial on a purple strap. The collection further includes a large gold-tone watch with a red dial and date aperture at 3 o’clock, marked I N G E R S O L L on the dial and featuring a stone-set bezel and matching link bracelet. Other examples include a silver-tone Citron watch on a black textured strap, a chronograph-style watch with sub-dials on a stainless steel bracelet, and two silver-tone Constant watches on black straps. Smaller dress watches include a Lorus example with a white dial and date window on a brown leather strap, marked V827-0210 [A0] to the case back; a rectangular gold-tone watch marked MOVT CHINA; and a round gold-tone watch on a red, black, and beige striped fabric strap. The watches utilize various strap materials including leather, stainless steel, and fabric.
Condition report:
The collection is in mixed, used condition. The digital watch appears non-functional with a blank screen (photo 6). The Ingersoll watch shows surface scratching to the gold-tone plating and crystal (photo 5). The Lorus brown leather strap shows significant wear, cracking, and loss of the surface finish on the underside (photo 4). Several other watches exhibit light surface scratches to the cases and crystals consistent with previous wear. Movement functionality has not been tested; most are quartz movements and likely require new batteries.
