A collection of die-cast metal toy commercial vehicles, primarily featuring examples from the Matchbox Models of Yesteryear series, alongside Corgi Classics and Lledo Die-cast Metal Replica models. The group comprises a variety of vintage-style delivery vans and tankers, including a 1927 Talbot in Lipton’s Tea livery, a Goodyear Transcontinental Motor Express articulated truck, and a Fresh Farm Milk tanker. Other examples include vans decorated for Lindt and Sprüngli, Goanna, and The Daily Telegraph. A cream and black delivery van is also present, featuring lettering for Chuck’s Farm Fresh Produce, Purveyors of Fine Fruits and Vegetables, Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. Eight of the vehicles are housed in their original card and plastic window retail boxes, which bear printed branding for Matchbox, Corgi, and Lledo. One vehicle is presented in its white polystyrene inner packing base without its outer card box.
Condition report:
The die-cast vehicles appear to be in excellent, near-mint condition with no visible paint chips or missing components observed through the packaging. The retail boxes show varying degrees of shelf wear, including creasing to the corners, light surface marks, and some yellowing or clouding to the clear plastic windows (photo 1). The Chuck\'s Farm Fresh Produce van is missing its original outer card box (photo 2).
