A collection of die-cast model vehicles, primarily commercial vans and passenger cars, mostly housed in original decorative packaging. The group includes two Aston Martin DBS models in black, each housed in a clear acrylic display case with a black base printed with the 007 logo, Aston Martin DBS, and the Shell pecten logo. A red Alfa Romeo 156 model in 1:43 scale is present in a plastic blister pack. Commercial vehicles include a green and black vintage-style delivery van in a red blister pack marked The Bosch Collection with gold-tone Robert Bosch lettering on the side panels. A blue and gold vintage-style van features printed Cadbury and THE CHOCOLATE THE TASTE livery in a white card window box. A red commemorative van is housed in a box marked 75 YEARS 1923 – 1998, RADIO TIMES, and COLLECTORS’ CHOICE. The lot is completed by two View Vans souvenir series models: a two-tone cream and black van in a card box, and a red six-wheeled van in a diorama display box featuring a street scene background.
Condition report:
The die-cast models appear to be in good, unplayed-with condition with no visible paint loss or structural damage (photo 1). The original packaging shows varying levels of wear: the View Vans boxes exhibit significant creasing and edge wear; the Cadbury van box is crushed at the right-hand end; and the Radio Times box has a surface paper loss on the upper left corner (photo 1). The acrylic 007 cases and the Alfa Romeo blister pack appear intact.
