A collection of board games, card games, and jigsaw puzzles in various formats and materials. The lot includes a Spear’s Games Scrabble Deluxe Edition with a turntable and four scoring racks, and a vintage Roulette set described on the box as The Ideal Party Game, featuring a green felt layout and wheel. Card games are represented by a Parker Brothers Pit set, a Merit Jack Straws game, and two editions of Uno. Modern items include a Rubik’s Magic puzzle in a box bearing the Matchbox logo, a Bananagrams pouch, and a Snatch word game in a cylindrical tube. The puzzle selection features a Falcon de luxe 500-piece London Underground Map puzzle, an Isle of Man harbour scene puzzle marked with an AN logo, and a University Games One Tough Puzzle. Also included are three large tan-coloured zippered folders for puzzle storage and a small circular tin featuring a Puss in Boots illustration. Several items retain original packaging and printed instructions.
Condition report:
The collection is in a mixed state of preservation. The London Underground Map puzzle remains in factory-sealed plastic shrink-wrap (photo 1). The Spear\'s Games Scrabble box shows surface scuffing and wear to the corners (photo 2). The Roulette box displays edge rubbing and age-related discolouration (photo 3). Minor shelf wear and edge rubbing are visible on the Isle of Man puzzle box (photo 1). The tan puzzle portfolios show light surface marks (photo 5). Completeness of opened boxes has not been verified.
