A collection of decorative homeware and vintage kitchen ephemera. The lot includes a pair of glass-paned lanterns with dark bronzed-tone metal frames and ring-pull tops, each containing a cream-coloured LED pillar candle. Also present is a copper-toned wire spiral candle stand supporting a large cream pillar candle with distressed edges, and a pair of wooden tea-light holders shaped as interlocking hearts containing pink tea-lights. The decorative group is completed by an assortment of cream-coloured artificial roses, two framed botanical prints, a polished silver-tone metal mug with an oval medallion, and a weathered rectangular copper-toned metal plate.

The kitchen ephemera comprises a quantity of vintage tin lids and paper packaging. Notable items include a circular tin lid for John Burgess and Son Ltd, printed with Genuine Anchovy Paste, Late 107 Strand London and Hythe Road Willesden N.W.10. Another gold-tone lid is marked Moorhouse’s Luscious Jams with a Symbol of Purity logo. Further lids include a dark circular example marked Chivers, a partial white lid for Frank Cooper Oxford, and a worn lid marked Marmalade CH. A crumpled paper sleeve for jar clips includes text reading Whilst Sterilising, When Cold Remove Clips, and Store For Use Again.

Condition report:

The contemporary decorative items are in generally good used condition. The artificial flowers show some dust accumulation (photo 1). The large pillar candle features irregular, melted-style edges as part of its design. The rectangular metal base plate shows significant surface oxidation and green verdigris (photo 2). The vintage kitchen ephemera is in a distressed, found condition, showing significant wear, oxidation, surface rust to the tins, and staining and creasing to the paper elements consistent with age and storage (photo 3).
