A collection of assorted carved wooden and decorative objects, primarily featuring mid-to-late 20th-century woodcraft. The group includes a mantel clock with a curved plywood stand, the rectangular base of which is incised with the capital letters HMP DARTMOOR. Also featured are several animal figurines: a carved pangolin or anteater with a textured tail, a duck with green polka-dot boots, a stylised bird in a sailor’s hat, a small elephant, and a wooden snake. Other items include a three-branch wooden candelabra, various turned wooden boxes and vessels (one circular box featuring an incised fish motif), an inlaid wooden charger, a decorated boomerang, and a cased wooden recorder-style instrument. A small wooden chest features an oval brass-tone plaque reading Zealand, likely referring to New Zealand. The objects display a variety of wood species and carving techniques, from smooth turned surfaces to textured hand-carving. A wooden ruler is shown alongside the cased instrument.

Measurements: The cased instrument is approximately 30 cm in length.

Condition report:

The items generally appear in good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age. A small white mark is visible on the bird\'s hat (photo 5). There is minor scuffing to the base of the mantel clock (photo 3). The wooden ruler shows some light edge wear (photo 4). No significant cracks, chips, or structural losses are visible across the group.
