The lot includes a large pink frosted glass vase of ovoid form with a mottled finish and a flared rim. Also present are multiple smoky grey and clear glass animal sculptures including dolphins and a stylised fish, some mounted on spherical bases. The assortment includes several paperweights, notably an iridescent glass mushroom which bears a gold circular adhesive label on the base reading GLASFORM – SS – LTD and ENGLISH HANDMADE. Other items in the group consist of a clear glass pear, a controlled-bubble sphere, and a clear glass snail. The lot further includes an amethyst geode, a molded glass jelly or blancmange mold, and several sets of stemware featuring green-stemmed hock glasses with etched vine motifs and smaller ruby-stained glasses with white floral decoration. Various other cut and pressed glass vessels are also included.
Condition report:
The collection shows several significant condition issues. One large grey glass dolphin sculpture has a horizontal break at the base of the tail which has been repaired with visible adhesive residue. A clear spherical glass base for one sculpture exhibits a large internal star crack and multiple surface fractures. Other items in the group show various degrees of light surface wear, minor scratching, and expected signs of use. The sets of stemware appear largely complete but may have occasional minor fleabites to rims or bases.
