A collection of contemporary home decorative accessories. The group comprises multiple lanterns of varying designs, including one large black metal lantern featuring an ornate Moroccan style fretwork pattern with a domed top and four rectangular metal-framed lanterns with glass panes and integrated battery-operated LED pillar candles. The rectangular lanterns are finished in dark grey and copper tones, each featuring tiered ventilation tops and circular carrying handles. The lot further includes a terrestrial globe on a polished brass-tone pedestal base, featuring a white map with gold-tone continental outlines and English geographic labels including SAUDI ARABIA and INDIAN OCEAN. Also present is a cylindrical metal planter or pot with a repeating floral mandala pattern in a burnished bronze finish, supported by three slender metal legs. The assortment is completed by a silver-tone metal bookend shaped as an owl, a silver-tone metal figurine of a soldier or “Bobby” in a vintage style uniform, and two tall cream-coloured candlesticks with decorative leaf and floral motifs. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible on the items.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good used condition overall with some surface dust visible across the collection, particularly to the tops of the lanterns and the owl figure (photo 1). The metal frames of the glass lanterns show minor scuffing to the painted finishes (photo 3). The faux wax of the LED candles exhibits minor surface marking (photo 3). The brass-tone base of the globe shows light surface scratches and fingerprints (photo 2). All glass panes in the lanterns appear intact with no visible cracks or chips (photo 1). The LED candles are untested.
