A blue folder titled BRITAIN’S FIRST DECIMAL COINS contains a set of early decimal currency. The group further comprises a large commemorative medal for the 2002 Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, a silver-coloured crown for the coronation of King Charles III in a plastic capsule, and a bicolour Sphinx of Giza medal. Also included is a quantity of loose circulating pre-decimal and decimal coinage, including pennies and cupro-nickel pieces, some held in plastic bags. Documentation includes a certificate and informational inserts from The London Mint Office regarding the Sovereign’s Orb and Sovereign’s Sceptre.

Condition report:

The commemorative coins and sets in original packaging or plastic capsules generally appear in uncirculated or extremely fine condition with original luster. The folder for Britain\'s First Decimal Coins shows some surface wear to the exterior. The loose circulating coins exhibit significant surface oxidation, heavy toning, and signs of wear consistent with age and use (photo 1 and 4). The plastic bags and some protective cases show scratches and clouding (photo 3).
