A group comprising two partially disassembled radio-controlled model aircraft and a boxed stunt kite. The first aircraft is a red and yellow starburst pattern low-wing model constructed from balsa wood and plywood with a plastic film covering. The vertical stabiliser features the printed name Ripmax and one wing is decorated with a star graphic reading STAR GAZER. The fuselage contains two internal servos with adhesive labels reading ACCOMS AS-12 IC SERVO. The second aircraft is a high-wing trainer style model finished in yellow paint with green and yellow adhesive tape detailing. The fuselage side is marked with the characters 7411ET and the internal compartment contains servos, a receiver, and associated wiring. Both aircraft are missing their engines and propellers. The lot further includes a stunt kite in its original illustrated cardboard box. The packaging is printed with BARNSTORMER STUNT KITE, a model number W34447, and a logo for the manufacturer Mettoy, Wembley.
Condition report:
Both aircraft frames show significant signs of wear and age. The Ripmax model has several creases and scuffs to the film covering, with exposed wood at the wing joints (photo 1 and 2). The yellow trainer model exhibits heavy paint chipping and soiling throughout the fuselage and wings, with black tape repairs visible on the tail assembly (photo 3 and 4). The nose sections of both aircraft are incomplete. The Mettoy kite box shows substantial shelf wear, including crushing at the corners and small tears to the cardboard flaps (photo 1). The internal electronics have not been tested for functionality.
