Sold for: £16
An assortment of contemporary lighting and storage items featuring natural materials and textures. The group includes a tall rectangular floor lamp constructed with a wooden frame and vertical bamboo or reed slats, featuring a central decorative panel of woven dark material and fibrous coconut husk (coir), finished with a woven rattan border. The floor lamp stands on four small black feet and is fitted with a black power cord and a standard UK three-pin plug. Also included are two table lamps: one hourglass-shaped lamp crafted from woven rattan or wicker over a metal internal frame with a black power cord, and one conical lamp featuring a white coiled cord or rope-wrapped exterior over a circular wooden base with a white power cord. The lot is completed by a small four-drawer storage chest featuring a vertical ribbed bamboo style laminate finish, with each drawer having an oval cutout handle. All electrical items are sold as untested. A small rectangular white adhesive label is present on the frame of the floor lamp and another on the side of the storage chest, both bearing the handwritten code W132511.
Condition report:
The floor lamp shows surface dust and light wear consistent with use, with minor fraying visible to the natural fibers (photo 1). The rattan table lamp and the coiled cord table lamp appear to be in good used condition with no visible structural damage (photo 4). The bamboo style storage chest exhibits some visible surface wear, light scratches, and cobwebs, particularly to the drawer faces (photo 2). All items are sold as seen and all electrical components are untested.
