This lot comprises two contemporary two-drawer vertical filing cabinets constructed from steel. The first cabinet features a cream or light grey finish to the drawer fronts and main body, set within a contrasting dark grey metal outer frame. It is fitted with recessed rectangular metal handles and a silver-tone circular lock cylinder on the lower drawer. The interior is finished in light grey and includes a metal compressor rail. The second cabinet features a charcoal or black finish to the drawer fronts and body, housed within a light grey metal frame. This unit is fitted with silver-tone wave-style surface-mounted handles and a black circular lock cylinder on the lower drawer. A small white paper label is visible inside the black drawer, featuring the printed text Evolve. No other manufacturer marks or retailer labels are visible. This lot comprises the cabinets only; the stationery items shown in the images are not included.
Condition report:
Both units exhibit signs of industrial use consistent with an office environment. The cream cabinet shows scattered surface scratches, scuffs, and areas of paint loss, particularly noted around the frame edges and base. There is visible staining or discolouration to the lower drawer front and frame (photo 1). The charcoal cabinet shows light surface wear and minor scuffing to the frame. The functional status of the drawer runners and locking mechanisms is unverified as keys are not present in the images. The floor wear and debris shown in the photographs are not part of the items (photo 1).
