A collection of silver and silver-plated tableware and flatware in various styles. The group features a three-branch silver-plated candelabrum in a Rococo-revival style with scrolled arms and a foliate-decorated base, and a circular tazza with a pedestal stand. The assortment includes two trumpet-shaped vases, a single low candlestick, and two gallery trays with pierced openwork borders. A cut-glass jar with a repousse decorated metal lid is also included. The flatware consists of an assortment of serving utensils and cutlery including a pastry server with an engraved blade, two table forks in the Fiddle pattern, and various spoons such as large serving spoons, a scallop-edged caddy spoon, and a souvenir spoon with an enamel crest. Three knives with cream-coloured handles are present. One knife ferrule bears four small rectangular cartouches: the first shows a crown, the second a lion passant, the third a date letter, and the fourth contains a maker’s mark consisting of two characters; however, these characters and the date letter are not legible as a specific name or year.

Condition report:

The collection shows significant signs of age and long-term storage across all pieces. Heavy surface oxidation and dark atmospheric tarnish are visible on almost all metal surfaces (photo 1). The tazza and several spoon bowls exhibit dark spotting and potential pitting through the plating (photo 3). Fine surface scratches and scuffs are present across the polished surfaces. The branches of the candelabrum appear slightly misaligned (photo 4). A significant accumulation of dust and orange-brown particulate matter is visible across the items and the shelf surface (photo 1).
