A collection of decorative elephant-themed wall plaques and free-standing figurines, finished in a silver-tone metallic wash with black antiquing. The collection comprises one horizontal relief plaque depicting four elephants walking in sequence, decorated with ornate circular and scroll patterns on the bodies and base; five relief wall plaques of varying sizes showing elephants in profile with raised trunks, featuring relief-carved scenes of figures in boats or walking under a sun, accompanied by stylised pseudo-script symbols; one free-standing double-elephant figurine on a single base with two elephants facing each other; and one free-standing elephant figurine with a plain, non-decorated body. The items appear to be constructed from molded resin or a similar composite material, finished to resemble silvered metal or pewter. A white adhesive label is present on one figurine reading 5702C.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition with the metallic finish showing a deliberate black wash antiqued effect. Minor surface scuffing is visible on the flat reverse surfaces of the plaques (photo 4). There are no visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the resin bodies.
