A collection of vintage style soft toys and vanity items housed within a blue mottled carry case featuring a blue and white floral fabric lining. The group includes a large jointed teddy bear finished in golden-brown mohair style fur with amber-toned eyes and a stitched black nose, dressed in a yellow terrycloth hooded robe featuring a duck graphic and the word Bath. Also included are two smaller plush figures comprising a tabby cat in a blue outfit with a lace collar and a rabbit in a blue jacket.

The vanity assortment consists of a three-piece gold-tone dressing table set decorated with pink radiating sunburst designs on the reverse, comprising a handheld mirror, an oval hairbrush, and a rectangular clothes brush. Accompanying these is a glass powder jar with a floral petit point embroidery lid under glass. The lot further includes a pair of black textured opera binoculars in a green and tan cardboard box, the lid of which is printed Rand No. 1 OPERA BINOCULARS and Empire Made. Ephemera includes a red-covered booklet titled NEWTON ABBOT, NEW & ENLARGED EDITION, PRICE TWOPENCE, issued under the auspices of the Newton Abbot Urban District Council, and a souvenir card for the White Star Line R.M.S. Titanic.

Condition report:

The teddy bear shows thinned patches to the mohair fur, most notably around the muzzle (photo 2). The gold-tone vanity set exhibits surface wear and light tarnishing throughout, and the mirror plate has a visible diagonal streak or scratch across the centre (photo 5). The opera binocular box shows significant scuffing and wear to the edges and corners (photo 1). The paper ephemera is preserved in plastic sleeves and appears to be in good condition (photo 3 and 4).
