A contemporary sideboard constructed from solid oak and oak veneers, featuring a light natural finish that highlights the prominent wood grain. The cabinet is designed with a clean-lined rectangular form, including a thick overhanging top and two side-by-side drawers above a two-door cupboard compartment. The drawers are built with traditional wooden runners. The lower section opens to reveal a single, full-width wooden shelf, with the doors secured by two internal magnetic catches at the base. The piece is finished with a vertical tongue-and-groove style back panel and features distinctive solid oak rectangular block handles. The doors are mounted on external barrel hinges. No maker’s marks or stamps were identified during inspection; a small white adhesive inventory label is present on the front right corner of the top surface. This lot comprises the sideboard only; the tools and other furniture items visible in the background of the images are not included.
Condition report:
The sideboard is in good used condition. The top surface shows minor scuffs and several dark linear marks (photo 2). The interior cupboard area displays light staining to the base shelf, and a small blue ink mark is visible on the bottom right of the interior drawer base (photo 7). The overall structure and joinery appear sound with no visible structural damage.
