A framed limited edition offset lithograph on paper titled Silver Lake by the artist Robert Lenkiewicz (1941–2002). The artwork is a minimalist, atmospheric landscape featuring a palette of muted greys, purples, and browns, depicting a reflective body of water. The print is signed in the lower right margin in pencil as R. O. Lenkiewicz 2. The piece is presented in a wide metallic-finished stepped frame with a cream-coloured multi-layered mount. Accompanying the work is a certificate of authenticity secured to the verso from the publisher Fisher Mackenzie, dated Feb 2002. This document identifies the medium as Offset Lithography and specifies this as print number 372 from a strictly limited edition of 475 copies plus 75 Giclee Artist proofs. The certificate also states that light-fast inks and acid-free paper were utilised and bears a handwritten signature. A small printed label is present on the frame corner reading C1337E.
Condition report:
The artwork and frame appear to be in excellent condition. The paper is clean and flat with no visible foxing, staining, or fading (photo 1). The multi-layered mount is crisp and free from discolouration. The metallic-finished frame shows no visible chips, scuffs, or losses to the moulding (photo 1). The certificate of authenticity on the reverse is intact and legible, though the protective plastic sleeve is secured with clear adhesive tape to the backing board (photo 3).
