A collection of vintage men’s personal accessories, writing instruments, and historical union ephemera. The lot features several pairs of gold-toned cufflinks, including examples with inset square mother-of-pearl panels and others with textured geometric designs. A black presentation box with a satin lining marked SOPHOS in gold lettering contains five assorted tie tacks featuring red, blue, and white cabochons with attached chain guards. The writing instruments include a silver-toned ballpoint pen marked GOODRICH on the cap, a pen marked USA on the clip, and a third silver-toned pen.

Commemorative items include a bronze-toned medal in a red presentation case, featuring a relief of hikers on a landscape and inscribed TEN TORS DARTMOOR. Union history is represented by a yellow paper membership card for the U.S.D.A.W. (Union of Shop, Distributive & Allied Workers) Plymouth branch, and a matching red presentation box reading U.S.D.A.W. IN RECOGNITION OF 30 YEARS MEMBERSHIP. The union box contains a shield-shaped enamel badge and a circular badge, both bearing the union’s acronym.

Condition report:

The items are in good vintage condition showing signs of age and light use. Surface scratches and minor tarnishing are visible on the metal components of the cufflinks and tie tacks (photos 2 and 3). The U.S.D.A.W. membership card shows light creasing and foxing consistent with age (photo 4). The enamel on the union badges appears intact without visible chips. The presentation boxes show minor shelf wear to the edges and corners (photo 1). No other visible faults were noted.
