A metal garden bench featuring a contemporary design and a grey-blue painted finish. The piece is constructed from welded box-section and flat-strip metal, likely steel. The decorative backrest is formed from an ornate cast or laser-cut panel depicting a woodland scene with stylized tree branches and several birds in various poses. The seating area consists of seven horizontal metal slats, while the armrests are fashioned from curved rectangular tubing that transitions into the front legs. No manufacturer marks, labels, or signatures are visible on the object.
Condition report:
The bench shows significant signs of weathering and outdoor exposure. There are multiple areas of surface rust and oxidation visible, particularly along the welded joints (photo 2), the upper surfaces of the seat slats (photo 1), the front curves of the armrests (photo 3), and across the lower edge of the decorative back panel (photo 1). The paintwork is worn and thinning in several places, and the piece shows general environmental soiling throughout.
