Sold for: £110
A collection of jewellery predominantly composed of silver-toned metal, featuring a variety of rings, earrings, necklaces, and a bracelet. The lot includes a boxed pair of drop earrings with a card and label reading St Justin Ancient Art of Originality, which describes the pieces as being made of pewter. Several items appear to be constructed from sterling silver, including a pair of stylized swirl earrings in a green velvet box with an insert reading Sterling Silver. The collection includes various rings, some marked 925 to the interior, featuring designs such as a trio of stacking bands engraved with Today, Tomorrow, and Forever, as well as adjustable toe or midi rings with floral and geometric motifs. Gemstones present include oval and round cabochons of amber in honey and cognac hues, a round purple amethyst or glass cabochon, and a small green stone. The group also features a mesh-link necklace with a central rose motif, a corded necklace with a whale tail pendant, and several pairs of earrings including stylised cat and Celtic-inspired designs.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good condition with surface oxidation and natural patination consistent with age and wear to the silver and pewter components (photo 1). The amber cabochons appear secure in their bezel settings with no visible chips or cracks (photo 2). The enamel work on the pink and green ring shows some surface wear but remains largely intact (photo 4). The cords and chains appear to be in functional condition with secure clasps (photo 1). The presentation boxes show minor scuffing to the exterior surfaces.
