A four part multi-purpose folding ladder constructed from extruded aluminium rails and rungs. The ladder consists of four sections, each containing three rungs, joined by three pairs of circular locking hinges with manual release levers. This articulated design allows for configuration as a straight extension ladder, a step ladder, or a standoff platform. The base is fitted with two wide stabilizer bars featuring red plastic end caps. The side rail bears a black adhesive label reading “FOUR PART MULTI-PURPOSE LADDER”, “MAX PERMISSABLE LOAD 150KG DIN EN 131”, and “Made in Germany by Hymer”. This label also displays the GS, TÜV Rheinland, and VBG 74 logos. A second white adhesive label is present, printed with “576702” and “MULTI PURPOSE LADDER”. A yellow safety label titled “TRADE LADDERS & STEPS” provides usage pictograms and repeats the “DIN EN 131”, “GS”, and “TÜV Rheinland” marks alongside a barcode.
Condition report:
The ladder is in a used and functional condition. There is visible surface soiling, accumulated cobwebs, and light oxidation and pitting to the aluminium surfaces throughout, consistent with storage in a garage environment (photo 1). The red plastic feet show scuffing and abrasive wear from contact with the ground (photo 1). The adhesive labels are intact but show some surface wear and minor lifting at the edges (photo 2). The structural rails appear straight without significant dents or bends.
