A Sanyo portable stereo music center, model G-2615NK, housed in a black hard-shell suitcase style case with chrome-finished metal trim. This solid-state multi-format system features an integrated record player, a cassette deck, an 8-track player, and an analog radio receiver for FM, SW, and MW bands. The interior lid separates into two speakers featuring teal and black woven fabric grilles, each bearing a metal strip marked SANYO STEREO MUSIC CENTER. The control panel includes an analog slide-rule tuning dial, a recording/battery level meter, and various knobs for power, band selection, function, bass, treble, balance, and volume. Several inputs are present on the upper right, including sockets for L-MIC, R-MIC, REM, and PHONES. The cassette deck is marked AUTO STOP SYSTEM and features a row of six silver-toned mechanical buttons for record, rewind, f.fwd, play, stop, and eject. The unit includes a central carry handle marked SANYO and two front latches.

Condition report:

The unit shows visible signs of vintage wear and use. The tonearm is currently secured to its rest with a blue wire tie or rubber band (photo 3), suggesting the original retention clip may be absent or compromised. There is visible dust accumulation across the control panels, within the 8-track slot, and inside the cassette compartment (photo 2). The exterior black plastic casing exhibits scuffing and light surface scratches throughout (photo 6). The left-hand front latch appears slightly bent or misaligned when compared to the right-hand latch (photo 6). Minor pitting and surface wear are evident on the chrome-finished knobs and trim (photo 3). The telescopic antenna is present, though the functional status of the electronic components is untested.
