A collection of vintage and modern toys, model vehicles, and musical instruments. The lot includes die-cast model vehicles, most notably three Lledo Days Gone vans in orange and cream Ovaltine livery, two of which are in their original window boxes. A large-scale die-cast model of a Morris Minor saloon is finished in dark green with chrome-effect trim. Other small-scale vehicles include a green open-topped vintage car, a dark-coloured vintage car with a black roof, and a model of a horse-drawn delivery cart. An original cardboard box for a Matchbox 75 Series model is also included. The collection features a Science Museum Nano-Copter MKII radio-controlled helicopter in its original retail window box. Musical instruments consist of an Echo model harmonica by M. Hohner, made in Germany, housed in its original green and gold hinged presentation box; the instrument is engraved with the maker’s name, model, and country of origin. Also present is a black tubular musical instrument, likely a recorder or flute, featuring decorative light-coloured banding at the joints.
Condition report:
The items are generally in good condition. The boxed toys show signs of shelf wear, including minor scuffing and creasing to the cardboard and plastic windows. The unboxed die-cast models appear well-preserved with minimal paint loss. The harmonica shows typical age-related patina to the metal casing, and its presentation box has minor external wear. The recorder appears structurally intact. The mechanical and electronic functions of the Nano-Copter have not been tested.
