A trio of silver-plated items including a pair of matching trumpet vases and a wine cooler. The trumpet vases are of slender form, each featuring a wide flared rim with a decorative scalloped edge and a plain polished body tapering to a stepped, circular weighted base. The wine cooler or ice bucket is of traditional form with a shaped rim and a gadrooned border, flanked by twin C-scroll handles and raised on a stepped circular foot. No hallmarks or maker’s marks are visible on the pieces. The items are constructed from electroplated base metal.
Condition report:
The pair of trumpet vases exhibit general surface tarnish and light scratching consistent with age and use. The wine cooler shows heavy tarnish and significant wear to the internal silver plating, with the base metal visible in areas. The exterior of the cooler remains in fair condition with minor surface scuffs and tarnish.
