This lot comprises seven embroidered souvenir patches and a separate model railway component. Each patch is mounted on a cardboard header card inside a clear plastic sleeve. The header cards are printed with the text EMBROIDERED PATCH RECOLLECTIONS BY CAROLE alongside a graphic of a pocket watch. The patches themselves feature a central embroidered image of a green Great Western Railway (GWR) tank locomotive on a white background with a green border. The top line of the patch is embroidered with SOUTH DEVON RAILWAY in red capital letters. The bottom line reads BUCKFASTLEIGH. STAVERTON. TOTNES. The locomotive has the initials GWR on the side tank. Included in the group is a black plastic model railway component, appearing to be a coal load or tender top, which is marked with the letters G W on the side. These items relate to the South Devon Railway, a heritage line operating between Buckfastleigh and Totnes in Devon, United Kingdom.
Condition report:
The patches appear to be in excellent, New Old Stock (NOS) condition, remaining in their original, unopened retail packaging. The clear plastic sleeves show minor signs of shelf wear. The plastic model railway component is in good condition with no visible damage.
