A collection of miscellaneous furniture and treen. The lot includes a mahogany Sutherland table, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century, designed with a narrow rectangular top and two rounded-corner drop leaves. The base consists of six turned legs, including four swinging gates, ending in trestle feet joined by a central stretcher. Also included is an octagonal table top in figured mahogany, likely originally part of a pedestal table. The single trestle table support is crafted from stained oak with a decorative upright featuring a pear-shaped cutout and a keyed through-tenon joint with a wooden peg. Completing the group is a traditional coopered wooden bucket of tapered cylindrical form, bound with three metal bands.
Condition report:
The Sutherland table shows surface scratches, scuffs, and wear consistent with age. The octagonal top has a significant horizontal split running through the centre, with multiple scratches and watermarks. The trestle support shows general surface wear and scuffing to the feet. The bucket exhibits interior staining and residue with age-related patina to the exterior.
