Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises a selection of vintage British tableware and commemorative items, many in their original retail packaging. The collection includes a ceramic plate commemorating the 1981 marriage of HRH the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, decorated with sepia-toned transfer-printed portraits and a relief-moulded gadrooned border, housed in its original Union Jack themed box. Also present is an 18-piece Crown Trent fine bone china tea set, consisting of six teacups, six saucers, and six tea plates with fluted rim detail. The collection further includes a boxed set of Famous London Scenes by Johnson Brothers, a large box of Hostess Tableware, and a Royal Darraby silver-plated tableware set. Serving pieces include an H. Samuel silver-plated and glass round hors d’oeuvre dish, model AH 0051, and a Queen Anne clear glass bowl with vertical ribbing, attributed to Mayell.

Condition report:

Items are generally in fair to good vintage condition. Most remain in original cardboard packaging which shows significant signs of age-related wear, including tearing, scuffing, and taping, notably to the Crown Trent and Hostess boxes. The ceramic and glass contents appear intact through packaging but have not been individually inspected for minor chips or cracks.
