An extensive collection of Denby stoneware in the Regency Green pattern, characterized by a sage green exterior glaze and a cream interior with a subtle speckled finish. The service includes 12 dinner plates, eight side or tea plates, and eight cereal or soup bowls. Further pieces include three large open serving bowls, seven tea cups with seven matching saucers and one additional saucer, and two mugs with ribbed bases. The set is completed by three graduated jugs, one large lidded tureen or casserole dish, and one lidded butter dish. Also present are three oval serving platters in a deeper teal glaze attributed to the Denby Greenwich range. The lot further contains a white ceramic tea service in the Denby Pussy Willow pattern from the Romance collection designed by Gill Pemberton, comprising a lidded teapot, two milk jugs of differing sizes, and a lidded sugar bowl. This service features an embossed relief decoration of floral sprigs.
