A three piece bedroom suite of mid-century British manufacture, constructed from light oak and oak veneers. The set includes a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a dressing table. The two-door wardrobe features a single-piece carcass with circular wooden pull handles, the right-hand door retaining a lock and key. The interior is finished with a darker hardwood veneer and contains a fixed upper shelf with a hanging rail positioned below. The chest of drawers is fitted with five graduated long drawers, each with matching twin circular wooden knobs. The dressing table is designed with two shallow frieze drawers over an open storage space. All three pieces are unified by a signature horizontal fret-cut detail on the lower apron and are raised on short, tapered legs. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible.
Condition report:
The suite exhibits signs of age and regular use. There are visible surface scratches and some watermarking across all pieces. The top surface of the dressing table shows significant finish wear and loss. All original hardware appears present and functional.
