This lot consists of two framed landscape prints. The first is a golfing print by the Scottish artist Graeme W. Baxter (b. 1958), titled 8th Hole The Postage Stamp Royal Troon G.C. The scene depicts the famous par-3 8th hole at the Royal Troon Golf Club. The print is signed and dated 97 in the plate at the lower left and bears a hand-signed signature in pencil by the artist in the lower right margin. The centre lower margin is printed with the title and artist name, while the left margin features the text Baxter Prints followed by a copyright symbol. The print is professionally presented in a double mount of forest green and gold tones, housed within a dark-stained wooden frame. The second item is a framed art poster after Claude Monet (French, 1840–1926) titled Bordighera. The image is a reproduction of Monet’s 1884 landscape painting of the town of Bordighera in Italy. Below the image, the artist’s name is printed in a stylized cursive font with the title Bordighera in a serif font beneath it. The poster is mounted in white and set in a simple blue-toned frame.
Condition report:
Both items appear to be in good condition. The prints are well-preserved behind glass with no visible signs of fading, foxing, or moisture damage. The mounts are clean and securely fitted. The frames show minor surface wear and occasional light scuffs to the edges consistent with age and domestic use. The glazing is intact on both pieces.
