A lady’s vintage manual wind wristwatch by King Watch Co. The 9 carat rose gold case features an octagonal-fronted design with a round hinged case back and fixed wire lugs. The golden textured dial is set with a circular chapter ring containing Arabic numeral hour markers and blue-steel leaf-style hands, marked SWISS at the six o’clock position. The movement is signed KING W. CO and marked FIFTEEN 15 JEWELS SWISS and ADJUSTMENTS THREE. The interior of the case back is stamped with the serial number 1137 and the maker’s mark I.W in a rectangular frame. It carries UK hallmarks for 9 carat gold including the crown, .375, and the anchor symbol for the Birmingham Assay Office. This item is not accompanied by a box, papers, or a strap.
