A 9ct yellow gold oval locket pendant suspended from a fine curb link chain. The front of the locket is decorated with an engraved foliate scroll design and the name Lee in cursive script within an upper cartouche. The reverse of the locket is engraved with the date 1-4-68 and features a set of struck hallmarks. The hallmarks include the maker mark WJH, the fineness marks 9 and .375 for 9 carat gold, an anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, and the date letter t for 1968. The locket is suspended from a fine curb link chain fitted with a bolt ring clasp.

The item is in good vintage condition showing light surface scratches and wear consistent with its age and use. The engraved name, date, and foliate decoration remain clear. The hallmarks are legible. The hinge and locket closure are secure and in good working order.
