This collection comprises four original United Kingdom mono vinyl LP albums by The Beatles, issued on the Parlophone record label. The set includes Beatles For Sale (1964, PMC 1240), Help! (1965, PMC 1255), Rubber Soul (1965, PMC 1267), and Revolver (1966, PMC 7009). The sleeves are constructed from card with front-side lamination and traditional flip-back seams on the reverse. Beatles For Sale is presented in a gatefold sleeve containing internal photography and biographical text. The back covers are marked with the manufacturer details for E.M.I. Records Limited, Hayes, Middlesex, England. The sleeves for Help!, Rubber Soul, and Revolver include printing credits for Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd. All examples feature the circular Emitex record cleaner logo on the rear. The Parlophone Pound sign trade mark and EMI box logos are present on the front covers.
Condition report:
The outer sleeves show signs of age and usage. Beatles For Sale has corner wear, light lamination creasing, and interior yellowing. The Help! sleeve displays significant foxing and discolouration to the back cover with wear to the spine and corners. Rubber Soul shows prominent foxing and staining on the reverse, with shelf wear and bumped corners. Revolver exhibits foxing along the top and bottom edges of the back cover, with corner wear and light surface marking to the front. The vinyl records themselves have not been graded for condition.
