This collection consists of eight pieces of vintage branded glassware. The group includes six Babycham champagne or cocktail coupes, constructed from clear glass with a gilt-lined rim and a simple clear stem and foot. Each bowl is decorated with a multi-coloured transfer-printed mascot of the Babycham white fawn wearing a yellow crown and a blue scarf. The base of the glasses features the word BABYCHAM printed in blue characters. Also included are two Roemer style wine glasses branded for Gatsberg. These glasses feature clear, rounded bowls supported by dark green, hollow, ribbed stems with a flared base. The bowls are decorated with a gold-tone transfer reading GATSBERG followed by a registered trademark symbol, set within a scrollwork border.
Condition report:
The glasses are in good vintage condition. The set of Babycham coupes exhibits minor, age-appropriate wear to the gilt rims and the transfer decals. The Gatsberg Roemer glasses show no visible chips or cracks, and the gold-tone lettering remains largely intact.
