A diverse collection comprising various decorative porcelain and ceramic figurines, animal models, and miniature curios, likely dating from the mid to late 20th century. The collection features a large matte-finish bisque figurine of a lady in a yellow walking gown and wide-brimmed hat. Several pieces are rendered in an 18th-century style, including a couple seated on a blue-trimmed settee, a gentleman in a blue lustre-glazed coat, and figures with floral-patterned parasols. Animal subjects include a large gloss-glazed model of a heavy horse in grey and white, a green lustre-glazed fish, and miniature livestock. The lot contains numerous miniature novelty items, notably a barrel inscribed Jamaica Inn, a chaise longue with rose decoration, an upright piano, a floral wheelbarrow, a flat iron, and a miniature grandfather clock. Also included is a suite of four cherub figurines on floral bases and a group of approximately twelve porcelain bells featuring various floral and figural motifs, including one marked Fendi. The collection is composed of a mix of gloss-glazed porcelain, matte bisque ceramic, and lustre-glazed earthenware.
Condition report:
The items are generally in good decorative condition, though they exhibit signs of accumulated shelf dust. One miniature cow has a visible circular mark on its side, possibly from an old price sticker. Consistent with the delicate nature of porcelain wares, there may be minor chips to fine details such as fingers, petals, or handles.
