A pair of contemporary mango wood side or bedside tables from the Flagstone range by Barker and Stonehouse. Each table features a square top decorated with geometric veneered panels and highly figured graining. The design includes light-coloured cross-banding and a central diamond-shaped stone-effect inlay. Each unit contains a single drawer fitted with a brass-toned drop-ring handle mounted on a distinctive star-shaped backplate. The tables are supported by thick turned legs terminating in block feet and joined by rectangular stretchers. The construction is solid with visible grain patterns characteristic of mango wood throughout.
Condition report:
Both tables remain in good overall condition. Visible wear is present to the tops in the form of light surface scratches, minor finish wear, and some faint ring marks or staining consistent with domestic use. The drawers operate smoothly and the structures are sound.
