The auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £30

Buyer's Premium:

A collection of silver-plated flatware in the Coronation pattern, produced by Oneida Community Plate. The pattern, first introduced in 1936, is characterised by vertical reeded handles leading to an ornate embossed terminal featuring floral blossoms and acanthus-style scrollwork. The service is housed in two wooden canteen tray inserts and includes a comprehensive range of place settings and serving implements. The assortment comprises dinner and dessert forks, soup spoons, dessert spoons, teaspoons, and condiment spoons. The set also includes dinner and dessert knives, featuring both matching silver-plated handles and cream-coloured composite handles. Included serving pieces are a pierced cake or pie server, large serving spoons, and a meat fork. The reverse of the handles is stamped EPNS for Electro-Plated Nickel Silver. The knife blades are etched with Stainless and Made in Sheffield, England.

Condition report:

The flatware is in good overall condition, showing signs of use consistent with age. There is visible tarnishing across the silver-plated surfaces. Minor surface scratching and light wear are present throughout. The cream-coloured composite handles remain intact without significant cracking. The wooden tray inserts show some scuffing, marking, and general wear to the interiors and edges.
