A late 20th-century two-piece display cabinet constructed in the Mid-Century Modern style. The unit is finished in a light-toned wood veneer, such as teak or light oak. The upper section features a glazed display area with two clear sliding glass doors set into tracks, containing a single full-width wooden shelf. The lower section consists of a solid cupboard base with flush-fitting doors and a small circular metal lock on the right-hand door, maintaining a handle-less minimalist aesthetic. The interior of the base is divided by two fixed internal partitions into three vertical compartments, a configuration typically used for storing vinyl records or large serving platters. This lot comprises the cabinet only; the ceramic and glass contents shown in the images are not included in the sale.
Condition report:
The cabinet appears to be in overall fair to good used condition. The wood-veneered surfaces exhibit some surface wear, minor scuffing, and light scratches consistent with age and domestic use. The glass sliding doors appear intact and function on their tracks. No major structural damage or significant repairs are evident.
