A Royal Worcester fine bone china vase of globular form, featuring a pedestal foot and a flared neck with a scalloped rim. The body is decorated with a finely executed hand-painted still life of fruit, depicting two apples and a cluster of purple grapes against a shaded mossy background. The reverse of the vase is decorated with a smaller hand-painted motif of two cherries. The neck and shoulder are embellished with heavy gilding, including a decorative foliate border at the base of the neck. The painted scene is signed H. AYRTON in reddish-brown pigment. The underside bears a purple printed factory mark with the crown and circle device, the words ROYAL WORCESTER and MADE IN ENGLAND, and the hand-written shape number F 110. Harry Ayrton (active 1921 to 1970) was a celebrated Royal Worcester artist known for his fruit paintings. Based on the factory mark, this piece dates from the mid-20th century.

The vase is in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of repair. The hand-painted decoration is well-preserved with vibrant colours. The gilding remains bright and shows negligible signs of wear.
