A collection of assorted jewellery pieces featuring various styles and materials. Included within a presentation box are several cross pendants: a small ornate silver pendant stamped 925 to the reverse and set with a centrally mounted circular red gemstone; a polished silver cross pendant stamped 925; and a larger gilded metal cross featuring engraved scrollwork to the front and an illegible oval stamp to the reverse. The group includes an oval Delft-style ceramic brooch depicting a windmill in blue and white, set within a silver-toned rope-twist frame and inscribed Delft Holland to the reverse. Also present is an abstract mid-century style silver brooch with curved wirework and spheres, stamped STERLING to the reverse with an illegible maker’s mark. The set is completed by a silver-toned torque bangle with spherical terminals and a split bypass ring stamped SILVER to the inner band.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of wear consistent with age and use, including surface scratching and varying degrees of tarnishing to the metal components. The Delft brooch exhibits light staining to the reverse ceramic plaque.
