A collection of two antique silver open-face pocket watches. The first watch features a Continental 800 silver case with an engine-turned back and a central circular cartouche engraved with a monogram. The interior of the dust cover is stamped Warranted 800 Silver and bears the serial number 49426. It contains a Swiss-made manual key-wind movement and is accompanied by a retailer or repairer paper for Symons & Son, Launceston. The white enamel dial has black Roman numeral hour markers, a railroad outer minute track, a subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o’clock position, and is marked Swiss Made. The second watch comprises a Swiss-made gilt manual key-wind movement housed in an English hallmarked sterling silver case, stamped with the 925 standard mark and serial numbers 133458 and 127286. The white enamel dial features Roman numeral hour markers and a subsidiary seconds dial. This lot includes a single watch key on twine and a heavy white metal curb-link watch chain with two attached winding keys.

Condition report:
Both watches show signs of significant age and wear. The dial of the first watch has substantial material loss and damage between the 7 and 9 o\'clock positions. The dial of the second watch is visibly soiled with some surface cracking. Both silver cases exhibit heavy tarnishing and surface scratches. Movements are untried and sold as-is for parts or restoration.
