Royal Doulton The Wind in the Willows collection figurines, including the model Persuading Ratty (WW4). This lot comprises three glazed ceramic figurines based on the characters from the Kenneth Grahame classic. The first figurine depicts Toad in a yellow checked waistcoat and blue frock coat alongside Mole, addressing Ratty who wears a yellow pinstripe suit, arranged around a blue sideboard holding miniature vessels. The second figurine features Ratty reclining on a blue and white striped picnic blanket, leaning against a wicker basket with small plates of cheese and buns. The third figurine depicts a domestic scene with Badger in a pink quilted dressing gown, Mole seated in a blue spotted armchair, and Ratty in a green dressing gown, set on a tiled floor base with a washbasin and floral jug. Each piece is constructed from polychrome glazed ceramic. The figurines are accompanied by their original presentation boxes, which are printed with the series title and the Royal Doulton maker’s mark. One box carries a retail sticker for Bygone Times.
