A collection of severn decorative elephant figurines in various styles and construction methods. The group features multiple figurines made from a composite material, attributed to crushed oyster shell, finished with a textured surface to simulate natural wood grain. One of these figures retains a paper label to the base stating HANDMADE IN PHILIPPINES. Also included is a large elephant figure covered in overlapping segments of natural botanical bark over a substrate. The collection is further comprised of two cast resin figures: one featuring an off-white textured finish with a detailed hexagonal patterned saddle blanket, and a stylized flat-sided figurine with gold-tone painted accents depicting a star-in-diamond motif and scrolling borders.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good display condition. The bark-covered elephant shows some minor losses to the surface material, notably around the trunk area where the white substrate is visible. One of the composite figures has a small chip to the tip of one ear. The remaining figurines show standard light surface wear and minor markings consistent with age and domestic use.
