An assortment of various decorative objects and household collectibles. The collection features a commemorative ceramic plate for the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar (1805-2005), bearing the transfer-printed image of Vice Admiral Lord Nelson and the naval signal “ENGLAND EXPECTS THAT EVERY MAN WILL DO HIS DUTY”. Also present is a circular aneroid barometer set within a carved wooden mount, the dial marked “A. ROBSON & SON NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE”. Ceramic components include a pair of souvenir salt and pepper shakers with cottage decoration marked “LLANDUDNO”, a boxed “DELICIOUS ART” tea tidy from The National Gallery, two miniature souvenir boots marked “WIDECOMBE” and “DEVON”, a leaf-shaped dish with floral and butterfly decoration, two floral-patterned candlesticks, and a small floral vessel. The assortment includes several boxed fragrances: Yardley London “ENGLISH LAVENDER” and “LILY OF THE VALLEY”, as well as boxes for “HERVE LEGER” and “Duchess” perfumes. Additional items include a pair of gold-toned sunglasses and an ornate decorative dagger or letter opener with a gold-coloured hilt set with red and green cabochons, provided with a black scabbard.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good overall condition. No significant damage, chips, or cracks are visible on the ceramic pieces. The barometer mount shows minor surface marks, and the dial and glass remain intact. Fragrance boxes show some light shelf wear and minor crushing to the corners. The sunglasses and decorative dagger exhibit light surface wear consistent with occasional use. The level of contents within the fragrance bottles has not been verified.
