An assortment of mid-to-late 20th-century ceramics comprising various kitchenware and decorative pieces. The lot features a collection of relief-molded earthenware in a mushroom-themed design, characterised by textured vertical ribbing and hand-painted motifs in autumnal shades of orange, yellow, and brown. This group includes graduated lidded canisters, a napkin holder with a ladybird detail, and a wall clock marked JAPAN to the lower face. Accompanying these are three large earthenware vessels decorated with broad hand-painted bands of vibrant lime green and orange, consisting of a twin-handled lidded tureen, an oval serving platter, and a tall cylindrical planter with a three-tone colour gradient. The lot is further complemented by a trio of glazed ceramic display letters in green, red, and blue, a small ceramic pot in the form of a mushroom cottage, and several terracotta and ceramic miniatures including a miniature jar with a checked lid and a sack-shaped vessel.
Condition report:
The collection is in generally good vintage condition, showing minor surface wear commensurate with age and domestic use. A small chip is visible on the upper edge of the green letter e. Typical fine surface crazing may be present on the earthenware bodies. No significant cracks or signs of professional restoration are apparent.
