A lot consisting of two items of miniature or child’s furniture. The first is a wicker armchair made from woven willow, featuring a diamond-lattice back and lower section, with plaited detailing to the arms and top rail. It is fitted with a loose, dark brown textured fabric cushion. The second is a rush-seated stool in the Jacobean revival style, constructed from darkly stained wood. It features a rectangular woven rush seat and four turned legs with reel-and-block detailing, joined by an H-stretcher.
Condition report:
The wicker chair is in generally sound condition, with one visible break to the lattice-work on the backrest. The stool shows significant wear to the legs and stretchers, with noticeable scuffing and loss of the dark stained finish. The rush seat is intact but shows age-related darkening.
